 "Two-Faced."  18" x 24"  Devil or angel?  You decide.  The background is dyed silk.  the faces are rusted cotton.  The whole thing is heavily quilted.  This is the quilt that will be exhibited in the Hangar Gallery, Santa Monica, CA from May 19 to June 16, 2012.

                                                          "Working Stiffs"
I made this 18" x 18" quilt with men's suit material as the background.  The calacas were cut from lightly rusted cotton.  The "clothes" and "shoes" were made from a men's tie and men's shirting material.  I added a few embellishments and the twisted yarn around the edge.  This will debut at Artistic Artifacts, Alexandria VA on October 22, 2011.

Guitar Hero

Opening tonight, Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the International Quilt Festival Long Beach, CA my quilt "Guitar Hero" will be in the "Bridges" exhibit for Quilts on the Wall:  Fiber Artists.  Scroll down to see the close up I posted a while back.  38" across by 48" long.

Made a quilt for a friend.  She owns an alpaca farm in Oregon and
sent me some fresh shavings.  I felted the fur onto a quilt to send
to her.  It's 22" x 17" about the size of a fat quarter.

This also been accepted into World of Beauty 2012.

Knee High to a Grasshopper,  36" wide 48" long.  This quilt was made for an exhibit put on by Dinner at Eight Artists and I just found out I got juried in!  

My quilt, along with about 38 others, will be part of a juried invitational exhibit at International Quilt Festival Long Beach, July 28-31, 2011.    I enjoyed the rusting process and laying out the design.  Now I'm waiting to enjoy seeing it in the whole exhibit.

Extra Rusting

I'm rusting again, lots of rusting.  I'm going to use this, along with other pieces in a quilt I'm making.  More of my rusting is up above on the pages tabs.

This quilt is 28" wide and 38" long. It's titled "Pigeonholed" and is for the "Discovery" challenge for Quilts on the Wall.

Just finished this house quilt for Habitat for Humanity. 12" across and 16" down. It's titled 'a'ole wikiwiki.
